What is the Simply Fit Balance Board Anyway?
Well, it is a “Balance Board” as you know by now. These boards move back and forth. SimplyFit is a bit different. It can also “Twist.” The user has to balance his/her body on top of SimplyFit while moving. With the basic motions, one can come up with various exercise routines that help tone down the fat.
Numerous Simply Fit Board Reviews told me that it first arrived in 2015 on a reality show for entrepreneurs. This plastic-made exercise board has since evolved and now we have multiple color choices, a settled price, and a YouTube channel of their own giving us 10-minute Balance Board workout videos.

According to the guys working on Simply Fit Board, this plastic exercise tool targets fat residing in your entire body. The user would just have to swivel and move. This little wonder could even improve the overall balance of your body. Add to that, it can withstand up to 400lbs of weight.
Anyone would take these claims with a grain of salt. I did too. Nevertheless, it prompted me to try this thing firsthand. And after tormenting this plastic board, here I am writing my own review.
Why Is It “An Offer You Can’t Refuse?”
Simply Fit Board is a bold choice that I made to get in shape. But I didn’t make it out of a whim. Besides the claim, the compactness of the whole product impressed me.
Even for a small balance board such as this, manufacturers have packed in surprises that people can take advantage of.
Firstly, you are getting a lightweight board. This being a new thing on the blocks, users get a manual describing how to use this thing.
If it still proves difficult for you to understand, there’s a DVD included in the package which describes different implications this board may have. Thanks to this, you don’t need to guess about how to do different exercise routines on the board.
So, Is This Thing Durable Enough?
Let’s address the elephants in the room first. Claiming to be “Rough and Tough Board” and actually being one is totally different. It certainly didn’t look like one at first glance.
The construction, for me, felt weird at first. Simply Fit is a lightweight board made of plastic. Don’t blame me for being cautious (and frightened) when I first hopped on to this thing.
Balance boards (cue in the name) require you to balance yourselves while using them. Simply Fit Board has a “Flex” design that tips people over if they are not careful enough. Naturally, I was scared of falling over and embarrassing myself.
I knew it could hold up to 400 pounds but I was skeptical. To my relief, it can withstand my weight of 210lbs even after six months. It still holds up its own. And, once I got a hang of it, balancing on this wobbly board easier than ever!
Which Areas of My Body will Simply Fit Balance Board Target?
Basic movements, planks, push-ups, and squats might not look like much but they target different areas of your body. The basic movements strengthen your core. It’s no secret that the balance boards improve your balance by keeping the core straight and strengthening the leg muscles.
Try the “Advanced” workouts and tips on simply Fit DVD helped me get over my knee troubles. Push-ups and planks helped me to strengthen my biceps brachii, triceps brachi, and supraspinatus muscles. Currently, I’m working on Adductor longus, Sartorius, and Rectus Femoris muscles.
Let me tell you, it’s anything but magic. You start off simple with this thing. As you master the basic things, you can add variations by exercising with dumbbells while balancing on SimplyFit.
Many Simply Fit Board Reviews have mentioned people modifying their stance and body posture to target specific areas. If you are an athlete, you’re job’s half done. You can easily target supraspinatus muscles with workout regime which is hard for a normal person.
How Were My Workout Sessions with Simply Fit Board?
Honestly, I didn’t do great during my first ten sessions with this thing. It was wobbly at first and I frequently lost my balance. I had to hold onto a chair till it got easier. Once it did, the real fun began.
Let me set one thing straight. This is not your traditional exercise mat nor a machine. It is a board that aids in your exercise plans through innovative workout regime like plank walk, Spiderman planks (yes, it’s a name of an exercise routine), screaming bridges etc.
The best thing about these routines is the fact that you don’t have to do anything extraordinary. These are just basic movements of your arms, legs, lower, and upper torso while you balance on the Simply Fit board. For a first-timer, these exercises can be hard to follow.
Trust me, the DVD helps a great deal. You’d do well to turn on the DVD and watch the experts for a bit. It gets easier over time.
A Tip to Help You: Start slowly by rocking back and forth. Gradually, try to gain a sense of balance over time. Then you can twist your upper body while keeping waist stable. It helps to strengthen the core of your body.
Who Else is This Thing Good for?
Good news is, SimplyFit doesn’t have an age restriction regarding who can use it and who cannot. Every member of a family can use this balance board for one exercise or another. Be it a child, adult or a senior; this plastic board has a little something for everybody.
A study from ACSME in 2011 shows us that this thing is good particularly for older adults and seniors. All balance boards help seniors to maintain and even to some extent, improve their balance.
This thing is also useful for people who are navigating rehab after injuries. As you know it strengthens injured muscles. Exercising on it reinstates postural alignment.

Remember, balance boards aren’t your like “Gym-type” equipment. You won’t get a full range of exercise with these things. They have limited capabilities.
